Free, Flexible Online Learning for Florida Educators

FDLRS is proud to offer free, flexible online learning through the BEESS Portal to Professional Learning Alternatives (PLA). These statewide courses are a great way to build your professional skills and potentially earn in-service point, on your schedule.
Facilitated Courses follow a set schedule and include instructor guidance and support. Independent Study Courses are available year-round and allow you to move at your own pace, making it easier to balance learning with your busy life.
Important Certification Information
Questions related to individual certification or recertification should be directed to your local certification department or to the Florida Department of Education Certification Office. It’s essential to seek guidance based on your specific certification needs.
FDLRS PLA Coordinators are happy to help with questions about credit for FDLRS professional learning, but please note: FDLRS staff are not certification specialists.
